Hooray! Post-pub me was just coming along to do this if it wasn't done!! Well done/yay for remembering!

(I'm sorry I've vanished into the aether. The last couple of days I've been just coming home and mostly staring into space for a while. I fear Flash confuses me, though.)

I am usually in anyway. I am much more likely to be out mid-week.

(I have the the hair ready and I just found the doll (can't have Illyria smiling like an idiot). Which is a bonus. She'll probably get a new, more poseable body eventually too.

Of course, all this doesn't allow for the bit I'm not so good at - the painting.

Mmm, articulated limbs would definitely be more Illyria-like, inasmuch as she is essentially an insect...

As for painting, I have no idea. Something with washes?

I don't think I'll bother with the tentacles though.

Oh you use acrylics, but my hand isn't very steady and my eyesight isn't great. We'll see.

I already thought of that. I haven't tried it out yet though. That's tomorrow's task.

Fortunately, the paint wipes off easily with acetone.

It sounds like you'll be fine! I'm looking at the weekend and wishing I had time for something creative, rather than knowing the whole thing will probably be filled with procrastinating from getting dressed and putting off buying in any food. I don't have anything to eat, of course, but I can subsist on jelly beans for a reasonable amount of Saturday. But I won't! I'll get up and dressed and I'll tidy and shop! I will!

I don't actually have time for creative things, I just ignore the housework to make room for it.

There's no point in looking at me for motivation. It's black coffee for breakfast tomorrow as I can't be bothered to get dressed just for milk.

Oh, that's obviously valid. Although reminds me that my housemate left a sink full of washing up to do when she left for the week on Wednesday (apparently she came home from the lab too late to have time to do it before she had to leave for the airport... I can't be bothered with it at the moment). :(

Damned lack of motivation. I blame beds; they shouldn't be so comfy. Though I think mine might suck me in now.

Maybe I should use our dishwasher. The problem is that it's one of those mini ones, so it's essentially useless, because you can't get anything in it. And by the time it finishes you could probably have crafted new crockery from scratch. I should just run a sink of hot water and bubbles and do the whole thing over an hour or so of wandering in and out. Like usual.

On that bombshell, maybe it is actually time.
